MISS VIRGINIA IS CROWN MISS AMERICA

Okay I'm not a pageant girl but I was flipping throught the chanels last night and came across the Miss America Pageant. I really got into it and quickly picked my favorite. Miss Virginia became my favorite after the first round of elimination and I was so happy for her when she won. Her beauty, grace and sense of style really caught my attention and obviously the judges as well. Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron wore a gorgeous yellow dress and her rendition of Beyonce's "Listen" helped her beat 52 others.

Keri Hilson is nominated for two Grammy this year. One for Best New Artist and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the chart-topping hit “Knock You Down” featuring Kanye West and Ne-yo off her debut album In a Perfect World. Okay for the Ugly Betty fans out there sorry to say but Ugly Betty has been canceled. The show that made America Ferrera famous and reminded us how fabolous Ms. Vanessa Williams is, is no longer after this season. So enjoy what's left of it.

So many of you heard and seen the devastation in Haiti after the earthquake hit. Well Haiti is going to need help for an extended amount of time beyond this year. Millions have donated money to the relief efforts in Haiti but as time goes by we will see help come in many other forms. This blog is about fashion and is an extension of my website Favfashionsites.com but at the same time, I the editor, Mz. Neen, am human. Like many others, I have donated money but have thought of new ways I can help especially since the amount of money I can donate is limited. I am helping by spreading the word about this disaster to bring awareness and encourage others to give. I have also decided to volunteer my services to the people of

HOPE FOR HAITI NOW ....................and for Rihanna's pants

Okay this blog is an extension of my shopping directory website www.FavFashionsites.com. With that being said, the posts are fashion related. I was watching last night's Hope For Haiti Now telethon and was really touch with the love, hope and support that everyone showed throughout the show. What I did not like was the fact that Rihanna had on this outfit. I felt this was not the time or place to wear something like this. Yes she is a fashion icon and in my opinion very beautiful but there is a time and a place to go without pants.

Anyway the night was not about her or her fashion choice but that's exactly why I think she should not have worn this. It wasn't about her.
